Manage your Sophic subscription, switch between monthly and annual billing, understand seat limits, and reach out about Enterprise. This guide covers the plan mechanics so you can pick the right tier for your team.

- Free includes basic AI search & query and community support.
- Basic adds automated runbook generation, incident knowledge capture, Slack integration, AI search & query, and standard support.
- Business (Most Popular) adds advanced AI agent actions, the AI Agent chat assistant, SSO & advanced permissions, API access, and priority support.
- Enterprise includes everything in Business plus custom data models & schemas, a dedicated customer success manager, custom integrations, an SLA guarantee, and an on-premise option.
Monthly vs. annual billing
Every paid plan can be billed monthly or annually. Choosing annual billing saves 20% on the per-month rate:
- Basic: $12/month → $10/month billed annually.
- Business: $25/month → $20/month billed annually.
If your team is committed for the long run, annual is the cheaper choice. If you want flexibility, stick with monthly.
Upgrading or downgrading
- Sign in at https://app.sophic.so as a workspace owner or admin.
- Open your workspace settings and go to the billing section.
- Select the plan you want, then choose monthly or annual billing.
- Confirm the change.
When you upgrade, the higher-tier features unlock for your workspace. When you downgrade, the destination plan's limits apply.
Member limits and what happens at the limit
Seat limits are enforced server-side per workspace:
- Free — up to 3 members.
- Basic — up to 25 members.
- Business and Enterprise — unlimited members.
When a workspace reaches its limit, you'll need to free up a seat or upgrade to add more people. To add more members on Free or Basic, either remove existing members or move up to a plan with a higher (or unlimited) seat count.

The AI Agent chat assistant requires Business or Enterprise. Free and Basic workspaces are declined.
Which plan do I need for Slack, runbooks, and incident capture?
Automated runbook generation, incident knowledge capture, and Slack integration require Basic or higher.
Which plan unlocks API access?
Workspace API keys and the public REST API are a Business-plan feature. Advanced AI agent actions and SSO also require Business or higher.
Can I switch from monthly to annual later?
Yes. Change your billing interval from the billing section in workspace settings; the 20% annual discount applies when you choose annual.
